Rethinking about the method for the old cities’ renovation in China.
To make the old city into tourism city, local citizens will usually be asked to move out from their own house. The new tourism city thus will lost its culture atmosphere with the lost of local citizens. To solve this situation, I try to make the culture building in this project as a place that can provide spaces for both tourists and local people. Conversations of them can happen here. Location of this project is Xinshi, Huzhou, Zhejiang Province.
